The website was created so readers of A Tale of Two Soldiers would be able to ask questions and learn more about Max and Karl. Also, for the family and friends of the two men, reader's comments would be of interest. I (Nina, daughter of Max) am not a techie, so the site is elementary, but hopefully I will be able to add more pages and photos to improve the site in the future.

This is a remarkable tale of love, bravey and hope in a dark, desperate time. What a legacy these 2 wonderful men have created. Certainly they are together in heaven, smiling and enjoying their story being told. Thank you so much Max and Karl!

I have just finished this wonderful book. The story was so interesting and well told. when I got to the end and realized Max lived in the University Club Tower I realized I must have met him at some point. I have been the house painter at the tower since it opened. I go at least every month to help keep the building in top shape. My partner, John Mcgivern, I am told has met Max's daughter Nina and that is how I came to read this beautiful book. I regret I did not get to know Max when I had the chance. Thank you.
